Dirk Lowke

Prof. Dr.-Ing. Dirk Lowke is a Professor at the Department of Materials Engineering, Technical University of Munich. He specializes in materials and digital manufacturing in construction, focusing on 3D printing with concrete and clay, ecological material optimization, durability, circularity, and mobile robotics. Before joining TU Munich in 2023, he led the Building Materials Department at TU Braunschweig's Institute of Materials Science and Technology (iBMB) from 2017 to 2023 and was a board member of the Braunschweig Materials Testing Institute. He studied civil engineering at TU Cottbus and earned his doctorate from TU Munich.
