Prof. Dr. Dirk Hundertmark is a faculty member at the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KIT), affiliated with the Faculty of Mathematics and the Department of Mathematics. He leads the Applied Analysis workgroup and has been teaching advanced courses in mathematical analysis and mathematical physics for over a decade.
His research interests span mathematical physics, nonlinear partial differential equations, Fourier analysis, and functional analysis. He has taught courses including Analysis I-IV, Functional Analysis, Fourier Series, and Mathematical Methods of Quantum Mechanics, often integrating seminars on specialized topics like nonlinear waves and stability theory.
