Dina Katabi

Dina Katabi is the Thuan (1990) and Nicole Pham Professor in the Electrical Engineering & Computer Science Department at MIT, affiliated with the Computer Science and Artificial Intelligence Laboratory (CSAIL). She specializes in AI for healthcare, medical imaging analysis, and systems/networking. Her work addresses ethical challenges in AI, particularly in healthcare disparities.

Research focuses include leveraging machine learning to improve medical diagnostics while mitigating biases, and developing systems for healthcare technology. Recent studies highlight AI's role in amplifying inequities through biased medical image analysis.
