Assoc. Prof. Dina Berloviene is Director of the Study Programme, Coordinator of the Health Sport Specialist programme, and Lecturer at the Riga Stradins University (RSU) Liepaja Branch. She has held these roles since 2010, contributing to education and research in health care, social welfare, and sports medicine.
- Doctoral studies in Research Methodology and Pedagogy at Liepaja University (2006-2010)
- Master’s degree in Educational Sciences in Pedagogy from Liepaja University (2003-2005)
- Sports Medicine degree from the University of Tartu (1985-1991)
Her research focuses on forming positive attitudes toward elderly populations in health care and social wellness education. She has supervised courses in anatomy, gerontology, sports physiology, and rehabilitation, emphasizing movement's impact on health. Her work includes projects like the European Later Life Active Network (Project No. 539547-LLP-1-FI-ERASMUS-ENW), where she served as both Researcher and Administrative Project Manager. She has also contributed to initiatives on social tele-rehabilitation and sports medicine in primary health care.
She has supervised 3 doctoral theses, 2 Master’s theses, and 5 qualification papers, and reviewed 4 doctoral, 5 Master’s, and 6 qualification theses. Her affiliations include the Faculty of Public Health and Social Welfare at RSU Liepaja Branch, where she leads study programmes and participates in international conferences.
