Dimitris Voudouris

Dimitris Voudouris is a Postdoctoral Researcher and Commissioner for the Promotion of Young Scientists at the Department of Psychology and Sports Science, Justus Liebig University Giessen. His work focuses on sensorimotor control, somatosensory perception, and gaze mechanisms in human movement, employing techniques like motion tracking, psychophysics, and VR studies.

Research explores how sensorimotor predictions interact with sensory feedback during complex movements, particularly in aging populations. Key projects include Predictive somatosensory processing during voluntary movements (CRC project A4) and tactile suppression dynamics across bimanual grasping to whole-body balance tasks.

Teaching portfolio includes master's seminars on Programming S1/S2, Body Movement Analysis, and bachelor's courses on Perception & Action. Supervises bachelor's and master's theses in sensorimotor research.
