Dimitris Andreadakis

Dimitris Andreadakis, born in 1964 in Chania, Crete, is an Assistant Professor at the Department of Architecture and Engineering within the School of Architecture at the Technical University of Crete. He specializes in Plastic Arts and Visual Arts education, teaching courses such as Visual Arts I–IV, Texture–Color, and Color Theory.

• Educated at the Athens School of Fine Arts and École Nationale Supérieure des Beaux-Arts de Paris
• Recipient of scholarships from the State Scholarship Service (France), Onassis Foundation, and Leventis Foundation
• His artworks are featured in major collections including the National Gallery (Athens), Benaki Museum, and Macedonian Museum of Contemporary Art

His research focuses on visual arts, painting, and color theory. His work bridges classical training with contemporary artistic practices, emphasizing texture and chromatic expression.
