Dr. Dimitrios Koutmos is an Associate Professor of Finance at Texas A&M University's College of Business, based at the RELLIS Campus. His research focuses on asset pricing, blockchain technologies, cryptocurrencies, and FinTech, with notable contributions to understanding Bitcoin's role in financial markets and the implications of regulatory policies. He holds a Ph.D. from Durham University (2012), an M.S. and B.S. from Fairfield University (2006 and 2005).
