His recent publications demonstrate a strong focus on emerging environmental challenges, particularly the interaction between microplastics and radionuclides, advanced desulfurization techniques for fuels, and the development of smart textiles for chemical warfare agent detection and detoxification. His work bridges fundamental materials science with practical applications in environmental protection and defense.

He has extensive teaching experience across three countries, having taught for more than 15 semesters at universities in the USA, Poland, and Greece.
His research group focuses on developing advanced materials for environmental applications, with particular expertise in designing multifunctional nanocomposites that combine catalytic and adsorptive properties for dual functionality in pollutant removal and chemical threat protection.
