Dr. Dieudonne Dusenge is an Assistant Professor of Accounting at West Texas A&M University's Paul and Virginia Engler College of Business, affiliated with the Amarillo National Bank School of Accounting, Economics, and Finance. He joined the institution in 2022 after completing his Ph.D. at the University of Arkansas. His academic journey includes a B.A. in Mathematics from Philander Smith College and an M.A. in Economics from the University of Arkansas.
Research Focus
Dr. Dusenge's research explores critical accounting and financial topics, including fundamental valuation, information asymmetry, causal modeling, and Bayesian statistical methods. His work addresses empirical challenges in financial disclosures and econometric uncertainty, with recent studies examining confounder adjustment in accounting research and fundamental analysis in mutual funds.
Teaching & Service
He teaches core accounting courses at undergraduate and graduate levels, emphasizing financial reporting, managerial decision-making, and forensic accounting. Dr. Dusenge actively contributes to university governance through committees focused on faculty development, diversity, and academic ethics.
