Dr. Dieter Schäfer is a researcher affiliated with the Institute of Archaeology at the University of Innsbruck, with a career spanning over three decades in prehistoric and early historical archaeology. His work focuses on interdisciplinary high mountain archaeology, Quaternary ecology, and the technological analysis of Paleolithic stone artifacts.
