Dieter Hutter is a Professor and Vice Director of the Cyber-Physical Systems department at the German Research Center for Artificial Intelligence (DFKI), alongside serving as an Honorary Professor at the University of Bremen. His expertise lies in security, formal methods, and change management.
- Education: Diploma and Dr. rer. nat. in Computer Science from the University of Karlsruhe (1983, 1991)
Research Interests: His work bridges security and formal methods to address challenges in change management, autonomous systems, and maritime IT ecosystems. Projects like Fast&Slow and SATiSFy highlight his focus on integrating symbolic and subsymbolic techniques for safety and security validation.
