Diego Villada

Diego Villada is a theater educator and practitioner specializing in movement for stage, serving as Guest Scholar Artist-in-Residence at Skidmore College. His residency, supported by the Miranda Family Fellowship program, involves fight and movement direction for the Mainstage production 'The Courage to Right a Woman's Wrongs'.

As a movement specialist, Dr. Villada focuses on directing, intimacy direction, and violence choreography, emphasizing safety, story, and spectacle in stage combat. His pedagogical approach integrates physical storytelling with character development and relationship dynamics.
