Diego Herrero Alonso

Dr. Diego Herrero Alonso is a postdoctoral Research Fellow at the Faculty of History of the University of Vigo, affiliated with the Department of History, Art and Geography on the Ourense campus. His research focuses on archaeology, specifically the analysis of lithic operational chains in prehistoric contexts.

• PhD in Archaeology from the University of Salamanca (2018)
• Member of the H20 Archaeology, Antiquity and Territory Studies Group (GEAAT)

His doctoral work examined Mesolithic raw material management in the Picos de Europa region, with specialization in lithic technology and territorial studies. Current research continues to explore prehistoric material cultures through archaeological methodologies.
