Didem Tunalı is an Attending Medical Oncologist at the Department of Medical Oncology, Koç University Hospital, where she has worked since 2016. Her clinical expertise spans breast cancer, gynecological cancers, bladder cancer, and lung cancer, with a focus on immunotherapy, drug resistance, metastasis mechanisms, cancer stem cells, tumor dormancy, and cancer cell energy metabolism. She is a member of prominent academic societies including the Turkish Society of Medical Oncology, American Society of Clinical Oncology, European Society for Medical Oncology, and American Association for Cancer Research.
- Education: Medical degree from Ege University School of Medicine (1994–2000), Internal Medicine Residency at Manisa Celal Bayar University (2001–2006), Medical Oncology Fellowship at Ege University (2008–2012), and Postdoctoral Research at NIH Clinical Center (2018–2019).
- Research: Specialized in translational research techniques and drug synergy in breast cancer under Dr. Stanley Lipkowitz at NIH (2018–2019).
