Didem Baş

Didem Baş is a Professor at Trakya University’s Faculty of Architecture, Department of Interior Architecture. She previously held academic and administrative roles at Istanbul Arel University, Çukurova University, and Istanbul Kültür University, including Department Head, Vice Rector, and Dean positions. Her career spans over 25 years, focusing on interior architecture, sustainable design, and architectural detailing.

Didem Baş has published extensively, including 15 recent works on prefabrication, detail design, and cultural landscapes. Her projects involve TUBITAK-funded research on post-disaster housing and Erasmus+ collaborations in youth education and cultural heritage. She has served as a peer reviewer for journals like ICONARP and Athens Journal of Architecture and edited books on design and urban culture.
