Dr. Dicle YILDIRIM is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Visual Communication Design at the Faculty of Communication, Üsküdar University since 2022. She holds a PhD from Dokuz Eylül University's Institute of Fine Arts (2022), following her MSc (2018) and BSc (2013) in Graphics from the same institution. Previously, she worked as a Research Assistant at Fatih Sultan Mehmet Vakıf University (2017-2022) and as a part-time lecturer at Dokuz Eylül University (2016).

Research Interests: Focuses on intersections of graphic design with science and medicine, exhibition design, digital illustration, and design pedagogy. Her work explores animation in scientific communication, medical illustration, and multidisciplinary design approaches. She actively participates in international conferences like the Cappadocia Congress and IAR-ARDE Symposium.
Recent Projects:
- Animated film projects on stem cell biology and medical education (TÜBİTAK-funded)
- Data visualization animations for behavioral neuroscience
- Medical animation for diabetes patient education
Awards:
- Special Jury Award (Macedonia International Poster Competition, 2016)
- 3rd place in Amateur Interior Design (Accademia Riaci, 2016)
Administration: Member of exemption, digital education, and events commissions at her faculty since 2022.
Teaching: Currently instructs courses like 'Design Thinking (Master)', 'Exhibition Design', and 'Digital Illustration' to over 400 students annually.
