Her scholarship bridges academic theology and practical ministry formation, frequently addressing how spiritual traditions inform modern faith communities.
Her publication record shows concentrated expertise in spiritual biography, particularly through her seminal work on Edith Stein that explores intersections of Jewish heritage, Catholic conversion, and mystical experience within 20th-century European context.
Dr. Traflet actively contributes to ecclesiastical governance as Board of Governors member at St. Joseph's Seminary (Dunwoodie) and serves on the theological faculty of the Pastoral Provision. She regularly conducts retreats and recollections, especially for deacons' wives and candidates, and provides media commentary on theological topics for outlets including Eternal Word Television Network.
