Dianna C. Preece

Dianna C. Preece, DBA, is a Professor of Finance at the University of Louisville’s College of Business. She holds a Doctorate in Business Administration (DBA) from the University of Kentucky, along with an MBA and BA in Business Administration from Marshall University. Her research focuses on intersections of corporate finance, ethics, and diversity, particularly LGBTQ+ inclusion, board diversity, and crowdfunding innovation. She has published in journals such as the Journal of Accounting, Ethics and Public Policy and Advances in Accounting.

Her recent work examines how religiosity influences corporate LGBTQ+ inclusivity and financial value, as well as the financial impacts of diversity initiatives. She also explores resource efficiency in manufacturing and the enduring role of crowdfunding in modern finance.
