Diane Reyniers

Diane Reyniers is Professor of Managerial Economics and Strategy in the Department of Management at the London School of Economics and Political Science. She holds a BSc in Applied Economics from Antwerp, an MSc in Operations Research, and a PhD in Operations Research from LSE. Her career includes positions at the University of Antwerp and London Business School, and she previously directed the Interdisciplinary Institute of Management.

Reyniers' research explores behavioural decision making, experimental economics, and evolutionary psychology. Her work examines irrational behaviors in economic contexts, including insurance aversion, strategic mating patterns, and coordination problems in organizations.

Her publications demonstrate consistent focus on behavioral anomalies in economic decision-making, with recurring themes in game theory applications, market inefficiencies, and psychological factors influencing financial choices. Research employs experimental methods to test theoretical models of human behavior.
