Diane M. Twickler

Diane M. Twickler, M.D., FACR, is a tenured Professor of Radiology and Obstetrics and Gynecology at UT Southwestern Medical Center, where she holds the Dr. Fred Bonte Professorship in Radiology. She serves as Vice Chair-at-Large for the Department of Radiology and as Medical Director of Obstetric and Gynecologic Ultrasound at Parkland Health. Dr. Twickler is actively involved in medical education as a member of the Strategic Planning Committee for Undergraduate Medical Education and as course director for Radiology Grand Rounds.

Dr. Twickler's research focuses on fetal and gynecologic imaging using ultrasound and magnetic resonance techniques. Her work spans fetal MR biometry, assessment of fetal dysmorphology, placentation imaging including myometrial invasion, and imaging of ovarian and uterine diseases. She has particular expertise in placenta accreta spectrum disorders, fetal gastrointestinal abnormalities, and ultrasound applications in high-risk pregnancies.
