Diane Carp

Diane Carp is a Researcher at the Amsterdam University of the Arts, affiliated with the Research Group Arts Education. She previously served as co-teacher and researcher in the Master of Education in Arts program, focusing on Interdisciplinary Artistic Collaboration. Her work emphasizes collaborative artistic research methods and integrates drama into educational settings through projects like kunstblik.nu. She has published extensively on interdisciplinary teaching practices and co-authored a primary education drama handbook.

Her research investigates how artistic collaboration enhances learning, particularly through experiential programs that scaffold research skills and foster interdisciplinary understanding. She presented her findings at the Vienna University of Applied Arts symposium and has contributed to professional journals like Kunstzone.

Advising and grants include her role in mentoring master’s students and participation in the AHK Artist-in-Residence program. Diane collaborates with educator Judith Zwaan on cross-disciplinary projects, blending drama, visual arts, and other learning domains.
