Dr. Diana Taschetto is a Researcher in the History and Philosophy of Science at Utrecht University's Faculty of Science. She is affiliated with the Freudenthal Institute and currently holds a postdoctoral position in Guido Bacciagaluppi's Bohr21 project, focusing on Niels Bohr's interpretations of quantum mechanics. She earned her PhD in 2024 with the highest honors from the University of São Paulo, where her thesis was awarded the Best PhD Thesis in Philosophy 2024.
Her research spans foundational questions in physics, from Newtonian mechanics to general relativity, with a primary focus on quantum mechanics. She explores the historical and philosophical dimensions of quantum theory, particularly the 'quantum revolution' and its interpretations. Taschetto actively communicates her work through lectures and interviews, often in Portuguese, covering topics like the measurement problem, Bohr's philosophy, and the philosophical foundations of quantum mechanics.
Her publications include analyses of quantum theory's historical development and its philosophical implications. She has presented at institutions such as the University of São Paulo and the University of Tocantins, and her work is published in peer-reviewed journals like Studies in History and Philosophy of Science.
