معرفی
Diana Micati is a Research Fellow in the Department of Anatomy & Developmental Biology at Monash University. Her research focuses on molecular mechanisms of cancer, regenerative medicine, and cellular signaling pathways, particularly in gastrointestinal and reproductive systems. She contributes to UN Sustainable Development Goals through her work on disease modeling and therapeutic strategies.
Research Interests: Dr. Micati’s work spans cancer biology (e.g., breast and colorectal cancers), intestinal regeneration using organoid cultures, and the role of WNT signaling in testicular development. She pioneers engineered biomaterials for tissue engineering, such as nanocellulose hydrogels for organoid growth.
Collaborations: Her international collaborations include studies on inflammatory disease mechanisms and preclinical drug combinations for colorectal cancer. Recent work emphasizes patient-derived models for precision oncology.
Labs & Teams: Active in interdisciplinary teams at Monash University, focusing on translational research in regenerative medicine and cancer therapeutics.
