Diana Grant is a Professor in Criminology & Criminal Justice Studies at Sonoma State University. She holds an MA and PhD in Social Ecology from UC Irvine and a BA in Psychology and Sociology from UC Santa Cruz. Her research examines how social science theories inform understanding of legal processes, particularly focusing on discretion in legal decision-making. She co-organizes Social Justice Week at SSU.
Research explores jury decision-making, white-collar crime, and the societal impact of laws through survey-based methodologies.
