Diana CLARKE

Diana CLARKE is a Lecturer in Creative Writing at the University of Canberra's Arts & Communication school. She holds a PhD in Creative Writing and Literature from the University of Utah (2022), an MFA in Fiction from Purdue University (2019), and dual Bachelor degrees in English and Marketing from the University of Auckland (2015). Her research focuses on creative writing practices, sex work narratives, and women's fiction. She is currently collaborating on the ARRTS: DA 24-28 Defence ARRTS 24-28 project (2024–2028), exploring artistic resilience and creative skill development. Her publications include the peer-reviewed books The Hop (2022) and Beauty (2020), examining themes like sisterhood, identity, and narrative form. She is actively accepting PhD students in creative writing.
