Diana Bossio

Associate Professor Diana Bossio holds a position in the School of Media and Communication at RMIT University, specializing in Digital Communication. Her work focuses on journalism’s intersection with social media, including practices on image-based platforms, journalist wellbeing, and regulatory frameworks for news content. Additionally, she explores older adults' digital inclusion, addressing social media reluctance and intergenerational connections.

Dr. Bossio has authored influential books such as The Paradox of Connection (2024) and Journalism and Social Media (2017). She leads collaborative projects with organizations like VicHealth, Telstra, and multiple local councils.
