Dr. Di Mo is a Senior Lecturer in Finance at the School of Economics, Finance and Marketing at RMIT University. She holds a Ph.D. in Finance and a Bachelor of Commerce with First Class Honours. Her teaching spans undergraduate and postgraduate courses, including Financial Markets and Institutions, Risk Management and Derivatives, International Finance, Corporate Finance, and Financial Planning.
Her research focuses on volatility estimation/forecasting, commodity futures markets, alternative investments, empirical asset pricing, and renewable energy finance. Her work has been published in high-quality ABDC-A/A* journals. Di is actively engaged in supervising Masters and PhD research projects in finance-related topics. She contributes to academic governance through roles such as lecturer and has maintained continuous academic appointments at RMIT since 2018.
Research interests include bridging theoretical finance models with real-world market applications, particularly in emerging areas like renewable energy investment strategies. Her teaching philosophy emphasizes practical application of financial concepts through case studies and industry-relevant coursework.
