Dr. Di Gao is an Assistant Professor of Statistics in the Department of Mathematics and Statistics at Sam Houston State University's College of Science & Engineering Technology. Her research focuses on Bayesian inference, biostatistics, dimension reduction, statistical learning with sparsity, and statistical consulting.
Education includes a B.S./B.Ec. from Tianjin University of Finance and Economics, M.A. from University of Missouri-Columbia, and Ph.D. from North Dakota State University.
Her publications demonstrate interdisciplinary work spanning statistical methodology development and applications in engineering, bioinformatics, education, and materials science.
