Dharati Desai

Dr. Dharati Desai is an Associate Professor of Pharmacy Practice at Long Island University, concurrently practicing in the emergency department at Mount Sinai Hospital. She holds board certifications in emergency medicine and critical care pharmacotherapy. Dr. Desai earned her PharmD from Midwestern University (2016) and completed PGY1 pharmacy practice and PGY2 critical care residencies at Allegheny General Hospital.

Her research focuses on:

• Disaster preparedness protocols
• Emergency medicine optimization
