Dharani Keyan is a Lecturer at the School of Psychology, University of New South Wales (UNSW). Her research focuses on bridging the gap between evidence-based psychological interventions and their implementation in resource-constrained environments, particularly through partnerships with the World Health Organization (WHO). She investigates scalable mental health programs for adversity-affected populations in both high-income and low-and-middle income countries.

Her work leverages implementation science to enhance uptake of psychological interventions, including digital tools like chatbots. Recent studies explore exercise augmentation in trauma therapy, stepped care models in Jordan, and peer-delivered interventions in India. She received the 2024 UNSW Science Early Career Impact Award and 2023 Swiss National Science Foundation funding for her research.
