Dr. Dewei Xu is a Professor in the Department of Electrical, Computer, and Biomedical Engineering at Toronto Metropolitan University. He leads the Laboratory for Electric Drive Applications and Research (LEDAR) and is available to supervise graduate students. His academic foundation includes a BEng (1996), MASc (2001), and PhD (2001) from Tsinghua University.

Professor Xu specializes in optimizing energy conversion systems through mathematical modeling, with industrial applications spanning aerospace, automotive, and renewable energy sectors. His research emphasizes:
