Prof. Detlef Heinemann is a Professor at Berlin University of Technology, leading the Electromobility and Smart Systems Laboratory. He specializes in automotive energy storage systems, battery technology, and digital electronics. His teaching focuses on electromobility programs including courses on automotive energy storage, microcomputer technology, and embedded systems across multiple semesters.
Research interests include battery testing methodologies, development of energy storage systems for island operation, and current sensor technologies. He supervises projects involving LiFePO4 and Li-ion battery systems, BMS integration, and CAN communication protocols. Consultations are available by appointment on Tuesdays.
