Mr. Desmond Crump serves as the Co-Director of Indigenous Engagement at the University of Queensland, affiliated with the School of Languages and Cultures under the Faculty of Humanities, Arts and Social Sciences. His academic role as a Researcher focuses on Indigenous language education and cross-cultural pedagogy.

Research Interests: Desmond specializes in revitalizing and teaching First Nations languages in Australia, with expertise in curriculum development and language policy.
