Desiree Delgadillo

Dr. Desiree Delgadillo is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Population Health and Disease Prevention at the University of California, Irvine. As a first-generation college graduate and health psychologist, her research examines the interplay between emotional, psychological, and gut microbiome systems across the lifespan. She focuses on how mind-gut-microbiome connections can improve quality of life across socioeconomic, ethnic, and health status groups.
