Dr. Desirée Daniel is an Adjunct Professor at the Institute of Geography, University of Bern, Switzerland. She is a postdoctoral researcher and Swiss Excellence Scholar focusing on sustainable land management and the role of digitalization in enhancing community resilience. Her work integrates geographical perspectives with social ontology and blockchain technology, particularly in Small Island Developing States (SIDS).
Education:

- MSc in Geoinformatics, University of Münster, Germany
Research Interests: Resilience in farming communities, land tenure systems, blockchain applications in land management, and formal/social ontology. Her geographical focus includes Trinidad and Tobago and other SIDS.
