Dennis Agboh

Dr. Dennis Agboh is an Associate Professor in the Department of Information Science and Systems at Morgan State University's Graves School of Business and Management. He holds a Ph.D. in Industrial and Systems Engineering from the University of Alabama (1988), with earlier degrees in Petroleum Engineering, Applied Mathematics, and Engineering Management. His research focuses on Digital Simulation, Emission Control in Transportation, and ICT adoption in developing countries, particularly in Africa.

Education includes a B.Sc. in Petroleum Engineering (1979, Louisiana State University), M.Sc. in Engineering Management (1980, University of Southwestern Louisiana), M.Sc. in Applied Mathematics (1983, Southern University), and Ph.D. in Industrial Engineering (1988, University of Alabama). He teaches Operations Management, Statistics, and Quantitative Methods.

- ICT adoption challenges in SMEs of Africa and Ghana
- Public-sector operations management applications

His work analyzes the operational benefits of modern transportation systems, such as electronic toll collection, and evaluates how technology adoption impacts economic development in less-industrialized regions. Recent studies include frameworks for smart contract adoption in Ghanaian port supply chains and assessments of e-government progress in Ghana.
