Deniz Diler is a Lecturer in Sociology at the University of Manchester, specializing in human-animal-technology relations, poultry commodity chains, and zoonotic diseases. Her PhD research investigates biosecurity in the chicken industry and the role of poultry science in biotechnological advancements. She teaches Environment and Society and Researching Culture and Society at undergraduate level.
