Deniz Aydin is an Assistant Professor of Finance at the Olin Business School, Washington University in St. Louis. He holds a Ph.D. in Economics from Stanford University, an MSc in Finance and Economics from the London School of Economics, and a BA in Economics and Mathematics from Sabancı University. His research focuses on field experiments in household and corporate finance, extending to macroeconomics and behavioral economics. He collaborates with financial institutions to conduct large-scale randomized control trials, exploring topics like consumer response to credit expansions, default triggers, and firm debt capacity.
