Denise Staudt

Dr. Denise Staudt serves as Dean of the Dreeben School of Education at the University of the Incarnate Word, with over four decades of experience in education. She holds an Ed.D. in Curriculum and Instruction from the University of Houston, an M.A. in Education from Our Lady of the Lake University, and a BAT in Elementary Education from Sam Houston State University.

Her research focuses on teacher education, literacy, and leadership, emphasizing excellence and equity in education. Dr. Staudt has secured significant external grants including a $2.5 million Teacher Quality Enhancement Grant and an $800,000 Preparing Tomorrow's Teachers to Use Technology Grant.
