Dr. Denise Jarrett is an Associate Professor and Acting Director of Graduate Studies in the Department of English and Language Arts at Morgan State University, a historically Black university in Baltimore, Maryland. Her work focuses on Caribbean literature, examining themes of cultural identity, postcolonial theory, and diaspora narratives through critical literary analysis.
Dr. Jarrett is affiliated with the College of Liberal Arts and actively engaged in graduate education initiatives. Her research intersects with broader fields of English literature, African diaspora studies, and women's and gender studies.
