Denise Fletcher

Dr Denise Fletcher is a Visiting Professor in the Business and Economies Programme at the Rights Lab, University of Nottingham, and Professor of Entrepreneurship and Innovation at the University of Luxembourg. Her research examines how organizations can drive equity and inclusivity, focusing on human rights, sustainability, and ethical business practices.

Her work employs organization theory, intersectionality, and ethics of care to analyze:

• Modern slavery and its discursive framing in management studies
• Anti-slavery strategies to disrupt exploitative labor markets
• Gaps in fair recruitment policies linked to deceptive labor practices

Dr Fletcher contributes to policy-theory syntheses on labor exploitation, emphasizing systemic interventions to address global slavery.
