Denise E. Reid

Denise E. Reid is an Instructor in the Early Childhood, Elementary and Middle Level Education Department at Eastern Illinois University. Her research focuses on reading and science assessment methodologies, with particular emphasis on mathematics education. She teaches courses such as Developmental Reading (ELE 3280), Science Curriculum in Elementary/Middle Schools (ELE 5660), and Assessment of Student Learning (ELE 4100). Her professional presentations include workshops on differentiated comprehension instruction and integrating technology in education, such as the ISTA Fall 2010 Conference presentation on 'Planting the Seeds for Science Exploration.'
