Denise Daniels is a Professor in the Department of Child Development at California Polytechnic State University (Cal Poly). She specializes in child development, with a focus on children’s self-understandings, learning motives, and the impact of early school experiences on their well-being. Her work integrates ecological perspectives to examine how adults’ psychological beliefs shape educational contexts for children.
