Denise Anamani

Denise Anamani is a Lecturer and Director of the Diagnostic Genetic Sciences (DGS) Program at the University of Connecticut's Department of Allied Health Sciences. An ASCP-certified molecular laboratory technologist with graduate training in Molecular Cell Biology, her expertise spans molecular pathology, serology, and immunology.

As DGS Program Director, she oversees NAACLS accreditation, curriculum development, and student internship placements. She teaches molecular diagnostics, cancer biology, and immunology courses, and serves as Honors advisor for the Health Care Genetics Professional Science Master's Program. Active in professional organizations including the Association for Genetic Technologists.
