Demosthenes Vouyioukas

Demosthenes Vouyioukas is an Associate Professor at the Department of Digital Systems, University of Piraeus. Previously, he served as a Professor at the University of the Aegean (2011–2024), Head of the Department of Information and Communication Systems Engineering (2019–2022), and Director of the MSc program 'IoT: Intelligent Environments in Next-Generation Networks' (2018–2022). He holds a Ph.D. in Electrical and Computer Engineering from NTUA and has extensive experience in R&D projects across Europe and Greece.

His work emphasizes secure UAV deployments, hybrid satellite-terrestrial networks, and AI-driven path loss prediction. Recent studies explore energy-efficient solutions and spectrum monitoring for next-generation systems.
