Delia Cholakian

Delia Cholakian serves as a Lecturer in the Department of Finance and Business Law at the Craig School of Business, California State University, Fresno, where she has been part of the CSU community since 2002. Her roles include faculty coordinator for ACCT and BA professional internship programs and advisor to the Craig School of Business Student Leadership Council.

• B.A. in Communication (Minor: Socio-Cultural Linguistics), University of California, Santa Barbara, 2002

Her research and professional focus centers on communication dynamics and leadership development, with specific expertise in resume writing techniques, non-verbal communication patterns, gender-based communication strategies, generational differences in workplace interaction, and leadership skill cultivation. These interests directly inform her teaching in business communication and work-integrated learning courses.

Cholakian developed the BA 162 Work-Integrated Learning program to support working professionals and coordinates the Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) program each spring. She provides college planning services to local clients and revitalized student leadership initiatives through the Business Student Leadership Council.
