Deepak Chhabra is an Associate Professor in the School of Community Resources and Development (CRD) at Arizona State University (ASU) and a Senior Sustainability Scientist at the Julie Ann Wrigley Global Institute of Sustainability. He is also affiliated with the Center for Asian Studies. His research focuses on strategic marketing in tourism, ethical practices, social equity, and heritage authentication. Chhabra holds a Ph.D. in Forestry from North Carolina State University (2001) and an M.A. in International Tourism and Hotel Management from Schiller International University (1992).
