Dr. Deborah Scarborough serves as Administrative Coordinator at Howard University School of Divinity, Office of the Dean, and holds an adjunct role as Professor of Ordination Preparation Seminar I and II at Maple Springs Baptist Bible College and Seminary. She earned a Doctor of Ministry degree from United Theological Seminary, focusing on Prophetic Congregational Development Using 21st Century Methods. Her academic background includes a B.B.A., M.B.A., and M.Div. from Howard University.

Professionally, she combines ministry experience—serving as an ordained minister, Pastoral Assistant, and Chief of Staff—with healthcare administration roles in long-term care facilities and Howard University Hospital. She founded Bible Journaling From The Heart and is a member of The American Copy Editors Society (ACES).
