Dr. Deborah L. Dillon is a Clinical Associate Professor and Director of the Adult-Gerontology Acute Care Nurse Practitioner (AG-ACNP) program at Duquesne University’s School of Nursing. With over 20 years of clinical expertise in cardiac electrophysiology, she previously held academic roles at Case Western Reserve University and the University of Virginia. Her research focuses on nurse practitioner transition-to-practice challenges, cardiac care, and gastrointestinal pharmacology. Dillon is a Fellow of the American Association of Nurse Practitioners (FAANP) and the American Academy of Nursing, and a recipient of the President’s Prestigious Scholar award (2023).
