Dr. Deborah Kuhlmann is a full Professor of English at Wayland Baptist University's School of Languages and Literature, specializing in online undergraduate education. She holds a Ph.D. in English from Texas Christian University, an M.A. from the University of Arkansas, and a B.A. from Texas Christian University. Her research focuses on epiphanies and epistemological themes in fiction and poetry, alongside contributions to African American and women’s literature. She co-edited Sue Monk Kidd: A Collection of Critical Essays (2023, TCU Press), collaborating with Wayland colleagues including Drs. McClenagan, Mayfield, and Heath.
